At around 4pm on Tuesday 2 April 2024, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to attend a pedestrian who was struck by a car in Lane Cove, NSW.
The patient, a man in his 50s, suffered head and chest injuries.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and CareFlight’s specialist doctor before being transported to Royal North Shore hospital by road in a serious condition.
