A woman aged in her 30s was flown to hospital in a stable condition after she was injured in quad bike accident on a farm in Razorback late yesterday.
The woman had become trapped under the vehicle she was driving after it had rolled.
The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked to the incident in Wollondilly Shire by NSW Ambulance at around 5:00pm and landed at Hercules Mountain lookout near the scene.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were first on scene and provided initial treatment to the woman before transferring her to meet the medical team. Police and Fire and Rescue NSW were also in attendance.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and a NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic performed a clinical assessment and provided treatment for injuries, including lower limb fractures.
The woman was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
