A 15-year-old boy has been taken to The Children’s Hospital Westmead in a stable condition after he came off his skateboard earlier this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked shortly after the accident at 2.15pm and when they arrived at Berowra Public School, found the teenager had suffered a seizure and was unconscious.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic treated the teenager at the scene before he was transferred into a NSW Ambulance. Under the ongoing care of CareFlight’s medical team he was taken by road to hospital.
