Two teenage boys were flown to Darwin last night, after they were injured in a crash on the Central Arnhem Road.

It is believed the car the boys were travelling in with several others, rolled and crashed into a tree, injuring the two young men.

Staff at Beswick Clinic provided initial treatment for the teenagers, while CareFlight tasked its Top End Rescue Helicopter with a flight doctor and flight nurse to Beswick at around 4.30pm.

Operating the Top End Medical Retrieval Service on behalf of the Northern Territory Government, the helicopter landed at Beswick oval, following a one-hour flight to the community south-east of Katherine.

The teenagers, who had suffered suspected head and arm injuries, arrived at Royal Darwin Hospital at around 10pm. Both were in a stable condition.
