An 18-month-old boy has been taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital after he was hit by a car in Glenbrook this evening.

CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at Glenbrook Oval shortly before 4.30pm. The team were met by NSW Ambulance who transported the child to the oval from the scene of the incident.

CareFlight’s doctor and intensive care paramedic and NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed and treated the young boy on scene.

The toddler was transported to Westmead Hospital by road ambulance in a stable condition, with CareFlight’s medical crew on board.
