A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after the truck he was driving collided with several cars in Collaroy shortly before 2pm this afternoon.
It’s understood the truck rolled and crashed into several other vehicles.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked, landing at an oval at the Salvation Army Collaroy Centre nearby.
NSW Police escorted CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic to the scene where they provided treatment.
CareFlight’s medical team continued to provide treatment for the patient as he was taken by road to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
NSW Ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue crews also attended.
