Earlier today CareFlight airlifted a woman in her 40s and a woman in her 50s after a boating accident in Bynoe, Northern Territory.

The CareFlight NT Rescue Helicopter, powered by Viva Energy and operated as part of the Top End Medical Retrieval Service on behalf of the Northern Territory Government, was tasked by emergency services just before 11.30am.

CareFlight crews treated the patients for non-life-threatening injuries before transporting the pair to the CareFlight base at Darwin Airport. St. John Ambulance then transported both patients to Royal Darwin Hospital in a stable condition.
