A 65-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling an estimated 8 metres down a stairwell in the Blue Mountains this evening.
The woman was found unconscious at the base of a stairwell at a residence in Leura.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked shortly before 7pm, landing in an oval near the residence.
