An 11-year-old girl has been transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition after she was involved in a single car rollover this morning.

The accident involving a family of six (two adults and four children), occurred near Bell, east of Lithgow, New South Wales.

CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to help at 8.36am, landing on the road just after 9.08am, about 100 metres from the scene.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic met Police, NSW Ambulance, State Emergency Service and the Rural Fire Service from the local area at the scene.

CareFlight’s medical crew continued treatment on the young girl as she was transported by helicopter to Westmead Children’s Hospital. Other occupants of the accident were transported by road to Nepean and Lithgow Hospital for further assessment.
