A 25-year-old man was knocked unconscious after falling off a hoverboard in north-west Sydney this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was called to Quakers Hill around 5pm, landing in a nearby reserve.
The man regained consciousness and was assessed by the specialist CareFlight doctor and intensive care paramedic, who then accompanied him by road to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
It is the second hoverboard-related incident CareFlight has attended since Christmas Day.
