CareFlight responds to an accident involving two motorcycles – Old Pacific Hwy, Cowan.
On Sunday, 14 September, shortly before 11:00AM, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Cowan, following an accident involving two motorcycles.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics provided critical care on scene, treating a female patient, in her 20s, for head and limb injuries. She was transported via air to Royal North Shore Hospital in a series but stable condition.
A male patient in his 60s was treated on scene by Toll Ambulance and transported via road to Westmead Hospital, in a serious but stable condition.
