CareFlight crews launch into the New Year with an extra boost of energy after the community placed a huge vote of confidence in our mission to save lives and help patients in remote, regional and metropolitan parts of Australia.
The annual Australian Charity Reputation Ranking survey was released at the end of 2017, comparing Australia’s 40 largest charities.
It was the first year CareFlight has been included, with the public ranking the organisation third overall; the score based on a range of dimensions such as Services, Innovation, Workplace, Citizenship, Governance, Leadership and Cost Management.
More than 7,000 people were interviewed nationally by research consultants AMR and the Reputation Institute.
We’re incredibly grateful to our wonderful community of supporters Australia-wide, who work so hard to raise awareness of CareFlight’s cause and the funds which are vital to running our services.
The poll is not only a welcome acknowledgement for our front line medical and aviation staff, even more importantly, it shows the value and trust the community places in supporting such vital patient care and emergency services.
It’s thanks to your dedication – as has been the case since 1986 – that CareFlight’s able to save lives, speed patient recovery and serve the community.
