An 18-year-old was airlifted to hospital after he was injured in a rugby game in Gosford this afternoon.
The teenager sustained a neck injury during the game, shortly before 3pm.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at an oval in Gosford, close to where the accident happened.
The medical team treated the teenager at the scene before airlifting him in a stable condition to Royal North Shore Hospital.
