A 64-year-old man has fallen two metres from the roof of his Leonay residence and sustained a potential head injury and fractures to his lower body and pelvis.
It is understood that the man was on a ladder doing maintenance on the roof.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked at 12:15pm and landed less than 15 later in a golf course by the scene of the incident where NSW Ambulance paramedics were providing initial treatment.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic assessed the patient’s condition and prepared him for transport to hospital.
The man was taken by road ambulance in a stable condition to Westmead Hospital under ongoing observation from CareFlight’s clinical team.
