A four-year-old boy who was injured on a jumping castle at a family event in Rouse Hill has been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The boy was reportedly found by himself on the jumping castle and initially unconscious.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked shortly before 3.00pm, landing within minutes in Russell Reserve next to the scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic walked a short distance to the scene to provide support to NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial care for the child.
The CareFlight critical care team provided further treatment at the scene in a road ambulance on the way to hospital.
The boy was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition.
