A 35-year-old man has been airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition after his motorbike collided with a car on a road in The Oaks this evening.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to the area shortly before 4pm, landing in a paddock adjacent to the accident scene.
Ambulance paramedics provided initial treatment for the patient, who sustained head and limb injuries.
CareFlight’s critical care doctor and paramedic provided further treatment, before airlifting the patient to Liverpool Hospital.
Police and fire crews also attended.
