A man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital after a single motor vehicle accident on Doonside Rd that ended in a car rollover, in Arndell Park, NSW.
The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance shortly after 9am and joined NSW Ambulance and the Rural Fire Service on the scene.
RFS firefighters worked to extricate the patient from the suspended vehicle. NSW Ambulance paramedics worked alongside CareFlight’s medical team to treat the patient. CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic performed a clinical assessment, including ultrasound and provided treatment care for injuries to the head as well as taking spinal precautions.
The patient was taken by road to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition accompanied by the CareFlight doctor.
