On Tuesday, 6 October at about 12.42pm, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Bara Creek Mountain Bike Park in Belrose after an 11-year-old boy was injured in a motorbike crash.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics provided critical care treatment at the scene for a suspected head injury and leg abrasions.
The patient was flown to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.
