On Monday, 17 March, shortly before 3:00PM, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after a man in his 40s became trapped following a multi-vehicle incident on the M4 at Eastern Creek.
Landing at a nearby construction site, CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient on scene for multiple injuries before he was transported by road to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with the CareFlight medical team on board the ambulance.
