A 13-year-old boy has been airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a stable condition after he came off his pushbike in Kariong this morning.
The teenager was taken to a local medical centre after the fall and CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called shortly after 9.40am.
The patient was transferred from the medical centre by NSW Ambulance to Kariong Oval where the CareFlight helicopter was waiting.
The medical team assessed the teenager on scene before transferring him to hospital in a stable condition.
