A woman was left unconscious when she fell head-first from an upstairs window at a unit block in Lethbridge Park in Sydney’s west today.
Ambulance paramedics treating another patient at the units in Luxford Road saw the woman fall shortly before 3.30pm and called in support.
CareFlight landed in a grass area close to the scene to allow the crew doctor to team with paramedics treating the woman.
The CareFlight doctor said the woman, aged in her 30s, was left unconscious for several minutes, suffering head and other injuries and fractures.
After stabilisation the woman was taken in a road ambulance, under continuing treatment by the doctor and paramedics, to Westmead Hospital where she remained in a serious but stable condition on arrival.
Police are conducting investigations.
