Human Factors for Complex, Dynamic Teams
CareFlight’s aeromedical retrieval team’s effectiveness in complex and dynamic environments comes from rigorous team training and the disciplined application of huaman factors. In today’s organisations, the same behavioural tools — effective communication, psychological safety, closing the loop, situation awareness, conflict management, and harnessing diversity of thought — are what separate high-performing teams from the rest. CareFlight brings this lived experience to your organisation to help your teams perform under pressure at their best.
What your team will get out of this training:
- Regulate their own stress response and preserve cognitive bandwidth under pressure
- Explain why human factors — not just technical skill — determines performance in complex systems
- Create belonging and connection quickly within a team, and cultivate psychological safety
- Apply structured communication tools: closing the loop, pause points, challenge and response
- Use a situation awareness model for better informed decision-making
- Apply a graded assertiveness framework to speak up safely under pressure
- Harness diversity of thought to strengthen decisions made under pressure
Tailored to your team:
Before the course, CareFlight works with your organisation to understand your operating environment, current pressures, and “what keeps you awake at night.” This ensures the tools are practiced against a problem your team actually recognises — not a generic case study.
Who is this training designed for?
Leadership and technical teams who operate in complex, high pressure corporate environments managing high-stakes situations. Ideal for operations, engineering, project, and leadership teams who need to perform reliably when things get hard.
