Pre-Hospital Trauma Course

This truly interdisciplinary course is aimed at doctors, nurses, paramedics, emergency response officers, firefighters and military personnel.

Delivered by a multidisciplinary faculty, the course arms participants with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes to enter the pre-hospital environment with confidence.

CareFlight Aeromedical Retrieval Training is a vital learning experience for all medical, nursing and paramedical personnel who are new to the aeromedical environment or are working towards a career in aeromedical retrieval.

CART provides an insight into what it takes to be able to work within this highly challenging but rewarding field of modern medicine.

Tactical & Hostile Response Emergency Access & Treatment (THREAT)

Would you know what to do if your mate went down beside you? There are three distinct phases within a tactical environment (direct threat, indirect threat and evacuation), and there are three preventable killers within the tactical environment (extremity haemorrhage, tension pneumothorax and airway obstruction).

A THREAT course will help you understand tactical situations and arm you with the skills to recognise and treat the preventable killers.
