Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Over 12,000 people each year die from cardiac arrest in Australia. Of these, 95 percent die before ever reaching hospital because nobody around them feels capable of administering CPR.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), CareFlight is doing its bit to improve survival rates by teaching CPR in the community.

Remote Emergency and Critical Care Trauma (REaCCT)

The Remote Emergency and Critical Care Trauma course is aimed at rural and remote clinic staff who are required to maintain advanced skills in trauma and critical care both within their clinics and at the roadside.

New to the Australian market, REaCCT differs from other similar courses in that the training is conducted in your local area using the equipment with which you are familiar.  The course is delivered by staff who are experienced in retrieval, emergency and critical care medicine in  rural and remote environments.

REaCCT can be delivered at CareFlight’s bases, or you can save yourself the travel and let CareFlight’s education team come to you.
