On Sunday, 1 March at around 5pm the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a bush location in Glenorie to help a man aged his 20s who was injured while riding an off-road motorcycle.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient at the scene for injuries to the head, neck and back.

Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service also attended to render assistance.

NSW Ambulance tasked a Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter to winch in additional medical crew to the scene.

The patient was airlifted by NSW Ambulance in the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
