An arborist has fallen 10 metres onto concrete from a tree that he was lopping at a Wyoming residence.
The 30-year-old man sustained injuries and possible fractures to his shoulder, chest and pelvis.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked at 10:26 from the Westmead hangar and landed less than 20 minutes later in Alan Davidson Oval, Wyoming.
NSW Ambulance provided initial treatment to the man and transported him to the oval. CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care assessed the man’s injuries and prepared him for flight transfer.
The man was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition under ongoing observation from CareFlight’s clinical team.
