A 45-year-old man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a serious fall while working at a construction site this morning.
The man fell from scaffolding about 5-6 metres to the ground below.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene shortly before 11.30am, landing in a vacant block of land in a new housing estate about 300 metres from the scene.
The critical care team arrived to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment for the man. NSW Police were also on scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic treated the man for injuries to the arm and face.
The CareFlight doctor continued to care for the man as he was taken by road to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
