A 67-year-old woman has been airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition after she fell off a horse in bushlands near Kurrajong this afternoon.
It’s understood the woman was out horse riding with friends when she fell off her horse and lost consciousness for a time.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to Mountain Lagoon shortly after 12pm and NSW Ambulance brought the medical team to the scene, about 6km from where the helicopter landed.
The woman was located along a bush trail and had regained consciousness. She was stabilised at the scene before being airlifted to hospital.
