A nine-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital in a stable condition after crashing head-over-handlebars on the Central Coast this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to East Gosford at 5pm, landing at Hylton Moore Oval.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic joined NSW Ambulance paramedics looking after the girl. She was assessed and treated for lacerations and a fractured leg.
The medical crews transferred the girl to the helicopter and she was flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital.
