A man in his thirties is in a critical but stable condition following a house fire in Pemulwuy this afternoon.
He suffered severe burns as a result of the blaze.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to the scene shortly before 12pm.
NSW Ambulance, NSW Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and other emergency services were also at the scene of the blaze.
CareFlight’s medical team intubated the patient and treated him on scene before he was transported by road by NSW Ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital. CareFlight’s medical crew accompanied the patient in the ambulance.
He’s in a critical but stable condition.
