On Wednesday 29th of May at around 8am, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to respond to Springwood, where a woman in her 80s sustained chest and arm injuries after being struck by a car.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman, before she was flown to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
