On Friday, 28 February, shortly after 12:30PM, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after a man in his 50’s suffered burns while on a boat on the waters near Brooklyn.
The boat managed to return to the boat ramp with the man.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient on scene before he was transported by air to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
