On Tuesday 4 August, at around 9:00am the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Box Hill after a man aged in his 30s became trapped following a motor-vehicle incident.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient at the scene for injuries to the head and legs.

Fire and Rescue NSW released the patient from the vehicle.

The patient was taken by road ambulance, escorted by CareFlight’s doctor, to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
