CareFlight were last night tasked to treat a young boy who’d crashed into a tree whilst riding a bike on a property near Cattai.
The rapid response helicopter, had a CareFlight doctor and critical care paramedic on board.
The crew landed after dark to treat the boy, who was fortunate to escape serious injuries sustaining a suspected fractured arm.
The boy was treated at the scene and airlifted to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
