A woman aged in her 50s has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after suffering a medical emergency at Dundee Beach this morning.
After she collapsed the woman received initial care from staff at the Lodge of Dundee.
The CareFlight Top End Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene at 8.30am, with a doctor and flight nurse treating the woman for a suspected stroke.
Operating the Top End Medical Retrieval Service on behalf of the Northern Territory Government, CareFlight airlifted the woman to Royal Darwin Hospital shortly before 10.30am.
