A 26-year-old male cyclist was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital after he came off his bike at West Head this morning.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to Ku- ring-gai Chase National Park shortly after 9am and landed on the helipad in the national park.
The cyclist suffered a fractured lower leg. He was assessed on scene by the medical crew and NSW Ambulance before being airlifted to hospital.
