The drivers of both trucks involved in a collision on the M4 Motorway in western Sydney escaped with only minor injuries this morning.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Blacktown, landing in a field near the Reservoir Road junction with the motorway shortly after 9am. NSW Police, NSW Fire & Rescue and NSW Ambulance were also on the scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor assessed the men at the scene and confirmed they had been lucky to suffer only minor injuries.
The drivers were transported by road ambulance to Westmead Hospital for further observation.
