A 12-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition from the Central Coast this afternoon.
The girl was injured when she fell from a pony and it rolled over her.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Holgate, just before 3pm.
A cricket match was cleared to allow the helicopter to land on an oval about 200 metres from the scene of the accident.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic treated the girl at the scene.
She was airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital, also accompanied by her mother.
