About 11:30am, Saturday 13 April, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Maitland to help a girl aged in her early teens who had been injured while playing in a soccer game.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the girl at the scene for head injuries.
The girl was taken by road ambulance with a CareFlight specialist doctor to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
