A 63-year-old male is in a stable condition after falling from a ladder at Dural this afternoon.
It is understood the man was pruning a palm tree when he fell about 4 metres off his ladder onto soft ground.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked just before 12.30pm to Dural, landing on the residential property just metres from the scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic assessed and treated the patient, taking precautionary action for spinal injuries.
The man was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Ambulance crews were also at the scene.
