A 20-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a fall from a roof at Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast.
The man was cutting tree branches at a residential home when he fell. His fall was cushioned by tree branches that had already been cut, lying on the ground. The injured man suffered scratches as well as bruising to the shoulder.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were first on the scene and transferred the injured man to the CareFlight helicopter which landed one kilometre away at Heazlett Park.
After being examined by CareFlight’s doctor, the man’s injuries were determined not to be serious. He was then transferred by road ambulance to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
