A 31-year-old man has been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital after his motorbike collided with a wall on the Pacific Highway near Cowan.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked, landing on a helipad near the highway.
NSW Police transported CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic to the accident scene, where NSW Ambulance were providing initial treatment for the patient.
CareFlight’s medical team provided further treatment for the man, who had sustained limb and abdomen injuries.
The patient was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
