A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after he was injured when his motorcycle and a car collided in northern Sydney this morning.
The motorcycle was headed south on Wakehurst Parkway when the collision with a car took place in Oxford Falls, with the rider landing on the road.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to help shortly after 8.30am, landing in a school oval next to the scene.
The critical care team walked over to join NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided further treatment at the roadside for the man, including for serious lower limb injuries.
The man was taken with CareFlight’s medical team in a road ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
