A 26-year-old woman has sustained head, shoulder and leg injuries when she was hit by a car at the intersection of Merriville Road Windsor Road, Rouse Hill.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 8:55am and landed 10 minutes later on the roadway where the clinical team alighted to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment for the patient.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance Critical Care paramedic performed a clinical assessment on the patient. The clinical team performed a roadside ultrasound and administered pain relief for the woman.
The woman was transported by NSW Ambulance in a stable condition to Westmead Hospital with ongoing observation during the transport from CareFlight’s clinical team.
