About midday, Saturday 8 June, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a toddler who had been hit by a car in Blacktown.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the young boy at the scene for serious head injuries.
He was then taken in an ambulance by road with a CareFlight specialist doctor onboard to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.
